SYSPRO Quantum Architecture –Business Management of Material, Costs and Cash –Part 2

Posted on 3 April 2013 by Erin Schlee

Business Management of Material, Costs and CashOn my previous post, I blogged about how Einstein’s Theory of Relativity inspired the SYSPRO USA go-to-market campaign 'S=MC²'; where S = SYSPRO ERP, M = Material and C² refers to Cost and Cash. This is about using amazing technology to get back to basics. Managing your assets and material, managing costs through efficiencies and visibility and managing the most important business resource there is – your funding and cash.

Einstein also inspired us when we named SYSPRO’s latest Quantum Architecture offering. Reflecting back on that post, I decided to brainstorm additional daily/real-life scenarios that can also be compared to daily struggles that manufacturers and distributors face within their own businesses. What was the next issue I decided to address? Inventory management and, well...baking a pumpkin pie.

The Social Enterprise – The Newest Tool for Manufacturers and Distributors?

Posted on 4 September 2012 by Erin Schlee

As the Social Media Specialist for SYSPRO USA, I am always on the lookout for new trends and updates in the social media world, especially how these trends impact the manufacturing and distribution industries. I’m a firm believer that Social Media is one of the greatest tools a company can use for engagement with customers and consumers. I once had a colleague here ask me if I think organizations will ever adopt social media as a way for employees to communicate internally.

Conquering the Clutter

Posted on 13 June 2012 by Erin Schlee

In my position at SYSPRO USA, I am given the opportunity to meet with Enterprise Resource Planning prospects, channel partners and customers. I have found that some have perfect experiences choosing and implementing an ERP system, while others find themselves overwhelmed and frustrated with the process. Reflecting on each company’s unique experiences reminded me of my own similar experience of furniture shopping.
